Should You Do a Nutritional Cleanse this Fall?

If you’re reading this, chances are, you’re like a lot of my clients. If you are running wired and tired from too much caffeine & sugar, you may feel the need to amp up on these things to keep you going but they often let you down quickly and leave you feeling exhausted and ready for another “hit”.  Not fun.  This could be a sign that your lovely body is asking for a break…a reset…a cleanse.  Yes, there is a way out…

Over the past few decades the word “cleanse” has become very popular, but the principles of letting the digestive system rest in order to allow the body’s natural cleansing processes to function better have been around for centuries. Our bodies are fine-tuned instruments. When we are eating the right foods, exercising, and feeling calm, our bodies can be in harmonious balance and run optimally.

You may have heard about the benefits of cleansing and you’ve been curious about it, but maybe you feel nervous, overwhelmed, or don’t know where to start.

There are different ways to cleanse, and trust me the best ones don’t leave you starving or running to the bathroom all day!

However I know that while the idea of:  I’m ready to Refresh, Reboot, and Reorganize – and to get things done, can bring on excitement, hope, and productivity, it can also bring on uncertainly, vulnerability, and fear of where to start.

Do you agree? I know I’ve experienced that.

So if you’ve been considering a cleanse, Fall is a great time. Summer is over, and the holidays are not here YET. Why not be at your healthiest when they begin?

Thinking you might want to join us but you’re not sure? Here are some questions you can ask yourself:

  • Am I ready for a reboot this fall before the holidays hit?
  • How am I feeling in my body?  
  • Do I currently feel how I want to feel?  
  • Am I eating for nourishment or am I numbing out with wine & chocolate, OR….?  
  • Am I ready for a clean slate around food so I finally know what foods fuel me best?
  • Am I ready to look and feel my best, MORE than I want to eat the way I’ve been eating, drinking, etc..?
  • Have I been wanting to make changes, but felt I needed more support and motivation to do so?
  • Do I like the idea of daily motivation and coaching with a group in a private online forum, of like-minded people, to help me feel & look my best? (forum is optional, but highly recommended)
  • Have I been honoring myself or throwing myself under the bus saying:  I’ll take care of myself tomorrow, or next week?
  • And don’t forget to answer this question: Does this food look DELICIOUS?

  1. I usually do nutritional cleanse every fall and spring, although I just got to lazy for that, I thought I will skip cleanse this time. But I think your post inspired me enough to do a cleanse now. Thank you for that :))
