With all the summer fabulousness, and parties,  trips, sun and general Joie de Vivre, maybe it’s been a while since you prioritized making a healthy breakfast, or woke up feeling refreshed and excited about your day, or simply took time for yourself to feel grounded and clear.

If you are like me, after just getting back from a gorgeous trip to Paris and Italy, so delicious, I’m  so ready to get back to my favorite healthy routines and to change things up a bit.

SO YES, I will be running my Clean & Lean 14 Day Get Your Holiday Glow on – Power Cleanse Program and it starts November 2.  More about that soon!

Here’s the recipe:

Stuff you’ll need:

1-2 scoops high quality non-soy, non-whey NO SUGAR, VEGAN protein Powder – I created products JUST for this purpose Clean & Lean Power Protein

1/2-3/4 cup frozen organic blueberries, peaches or raspberries

1 TBSP organic almond butter, or other nut butter – I having a love affair with Nutzo-mixed nut butter as it has a powerful and delicious array of healthy fats

1 cup water  or unsweetened coconut milk (more or less)

2 tsp fiber powder: I use Clean & Lean Power Fiber (this is my favorite “get regular” trick)

1/4 tsp Cinnamon (optional, but magic for blood sugar balancing)

ADD IN’S 1/4 Avocado, handful kale or spinach, high potency EPA/EFA purity tested fish oil.  Here’s the one I Love: Clean & Clear Power Omega lemon Swirl -because it’s the best quality and it’s not a big ol’ fishy elephant pill 😉 Who likes to burp up fishy burps? Me neither.

How to make it:

Blend all ingredients (except protein powder) in high speed blender (like Vitamix or Magic Bullet), until smooth, THEN add in protein powder for 15 seconds.

  1. Lisa, I’ve just found your blog and I’m so grateful for it! I find so many ideas here what to eat and how to say healthy and fit. You don’t look that old for being 50. I better get making these kinds of drinks in the morning!
